international cultural exchange event held in demohood -和记娱乐平台在线

on may 16th, an international cultural exchange event was held at demohood, a creative park in yinzhou district. it offered a chance for expats in ningbo and local citizens to get a glimpse into diverse cultures and promote mutual understanding.

a banner bearing the slogan "make a friend" welcomes every visitor to the tide play bazaar, where locals and expats enjoy great food and drinks, art and crafts activities such as tie-dyeing and flower arrangement, and the opportunity to socialize. at the event on the 16th, titled “people in ningbo, music in the world”, participants from around the world presented a fusion of western music and chinese traditional music. in the panel discussion, isidro, a spanish music teacher from ningbo yinglun international school, demonstrated classical spanish music, which is passionate and dynamic, and played flamenco music on a cajón, a traditional spanish instrument. then, dr. terry spoke about the underlying meaning behind irish music and its lyrics. since many irish people have left their homeland for various reasons throughout history, traditional irish music often expresses a longing for the hometown and friends and family back home. he zhenbiao, a professor from ningbo tech university, shared his experience working as an amateur radio host during a study tour to the united states, where he introduced chinese music butterfly lovers and wonderful nights to an american audience. wang leting, winner of the fixt label remix award, explained how he combined traditional chinese folk music and electronic music. 

after the panel was the “yongchao music live show”, which started with a hanfu fashion show, demonstrating the charm of traditional chinese culture. hanfu are traditional chinese robes with a history of more than three millennia. isidro played i love you china and ningbo fantasy, an original piece he composed that had never been performed publicly before. he was followed by other chinese musicians, including yinzhou’s chai yunzhe, the band pinocchio, and students from the central conservatory of music school. “we will organize music concerts at laowaitan in the future,” said isidro.

the activity was jointly organized by the publicity department of the cpc yinzhou district, the yinzhou district bureau of culture, radio, tourism, and sports, and the zhonggongmiao sub-community.
