"i planned to register at the hangzhou division for competitive cycling in march. but due to the covid-19 epidemic, my registration was postponed and i arrived at qiandaohu town, chun'an county and officially registered on april 23." wu xiaojun, secretary general of ningbo cycling association, shared with ningbo evening news. as a member of the cycling venue team, wu will work as technical operation director of mountain bike (mtb) competitions at the 19th asian games and 4th asian paralympic games in hangzhou for the following months.
“原本3月份就要到杭州亚运会自行车比赛分赛区报到的，由于疫情的影响，我在4月23日才抵达淳安千岛湖镇，正式在赛区报到上岗。”宁波市自行车运动协会秘书长吴晓军告诉记者，接下来几个月时间，他将作为杭州亚运会和杭州亚残运会自行车项目竞赛场馆团队成员开展工作，具体岗位是“山地车竞赛技术运行主任（自行车）”。
wu is a national referee of mountain bike competitions with nearly 30 years' outdoor cycling; furthermore, he has rich experience in organizing national and provincial competitions. in 2000, wu and his friends completed a 21-day cycling journey from ningbo to beijing to show their support for china's bid to host the 2008 olympic games. in addition, he is one of ningbo’s pioneer cyclists across the qinghai-tibet plateau. his cycling has also taken him throughout qinghai province and on trips with fellow ningbo cyclists on the sichuan-tibet highway.
吴晓军不仅有近30年的户外自行车骑行经历，还有承办组织全国和省市山地车比赛的丰富经历，同时也是山地自行车国家级裁判。2000年，为了支持北京申奥，吴晓军辞去事业单位的工作，约了几个朋友从宁波骑往北京，他们历时21天完成壮举。同时，他也是宁波最早骑自行车冲上青藏高原的“骑士”之一，完成过多次青海骑行，也多次带领宁波车友挑战过川藏线。

ningbo cycling association was established in 2003, and wu served as its secretary general. he and his colleagues have contributed to competition organization, mountain bike track construction and competition software designing.
宁波市自行车运动协会2003年成立，吴晓军担任秘书长之后，和同伴们在组织赛事、推动山地车赛道建设和竞赛软件开发等方面，投入了大量精力。
to name a few, the association has jointly organized ningbo's cherry blossom festival cycling competition with the local government of zhangshui town for ten years. among other hosted events, there are the china mountain bike championship (ningbo division) in 2013, china mountain bike championship in 2018 and china mountain bike tournament in 2019. these events were all held at dapeng mountain in ningbo and were the highest-level mountain bike competitions hosted in zhejiang province.
比如，市自行车运动协会与章水镇连续10年举办樱花节自行车赛；2013年首次承办全国山地车冠军赛分站赛，2018年承办全国山地车总冠军赛，2019年承办全国山地车锦标赛，这些比赛均在慈溪达蓬山举行，这也是浙江省至今承办过的最高级别的山地车比赛。
notably, routes of all the above-mentioned competitions are designed by wu and his colleagues. the ningbo mountain bike park established in 2020 also is another product of their design and technical support.
值得一提的是，无论是章水镇的本土赛事，还是达蓬山的全国比赛，竞赛路线均由吴晓军和同伴们整理设计。2020年建成的宁波山地自行车公园，也是由吴晓军和同伴们设计、提供和记娱乐平台在线的技术支持的。
wu revealed to ningbo evening news that another cycling enthusiast, le junjie, was also invited to take office as technical officer in mountain bike race at the games. "le junjie is a national first-class referee, and he will serve as the director of equipment this time. it’s our pleasure and honor to contribute to the asian games. we'll fulfill our duty to guarantee the smooth running of events." wu said.
他告诉记者，宁波另一名山地车运动爱好者乐骏杰，受邀担任了杭州亚运会山地自行车竞赛技术官员。吴晓军说：“乐骏杰是国家一级裁判，岗位是器材主管。能够为亚运会贡献一份力量，是我们的幸运和荣耀，我们一定会努力做好自己的工作，保障好赛事运行。”
