相距千万里，两座历史文化名城会有什么样的共通点？一场有趣的“对话”值得期待，也邀请您来一起围观。

粉墙黛瓦，小桥流水是美；红顶白墙，多元融合也是美。年糕豆酥糖，满满宁波人的年味；香肠甜酒，全是萨格勒布的风情。传统楹联写尽了江南美；古朴铜像塑造城市气质。

ningbo and zagreb have a cultural-cross dialogue! 

recently, a reporter from ningbo culture & tourism and her counterpart sarah in zagreb, capital of croatia, take us on a virtual culture tour, with a highlight on traditional local snacks. 

although ningbo and zagreb are far apart geographically, we both have rich histories, dynamic cultures, and fine architecture. in ningbo, you will find majestic red-tiled residences and elegant oriental gardens; you will taste rice cake and soy bean desserts (a classic chinese new year treat). in zagreb, you will find elegant bronze statues commemorating the city’s long history and taste the most authentic croatian sausages and mulled wine.

ningbo is an 8,000-year-old coastal city and the busiest cargo port in the world. zagreb, a city founded in roman times, is an essential transport hub placed at the crossroads of central europe, the mediterranean and the southeast europe. in both cities, the traditional merges with the modern, giving rise to a dynamism that captivates visitors from all over the world.
